Construction began in August and is on track for completion by Dec. 23.

The new centers will enhance this program, particularly for children in the resettlement communities of Tacloban North, bringing quality early education closer to their homes.

In an earlier interview, Mayor Romualdez emphasized the importance of investing in children, noting that the construction of day care centers is integral to ensuring preschoolers receive foundational education.
“We want to give our children the best start in life, and building these centers is a step towards that goal,” he said.
