LUCENA CITY — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) suspended sea travel on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the island provinces of Marinduque and Romblon due to rough sea conditions caused by Tropical Storm Kristine.

In an advisory posted on its Facebook page around 7:30 a.m., the PCG-District Southern Tagalog (PCG-DST) cited the 5 a.m. bulletin by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“This station is temporarily suspending voyages of all vessels/watercraft plying the route within the area of responsibility of Coast Guard Station Marinduque due to the hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 over the whole province of Marinduque and the possible effect of inclement weather,” the PCG-DST said.
